    『Help the Tucson Homeless』

    We’re supporters of the Tucson Homeless Connect Event. Last year 100 people in Tucson, Az volunteered! This is affiliated with the National Project Homeless Connect and the United States Housing & Urban Development (HUD).

    We’re opening our office until February 19th, 2010 at the Silverbell Ranch (2625 N. Silverbell Tucson, AZ) to be a drop-off point to collect personal care items. If you have unused bottles of shampoo, soap, toothpastes, etc. we’re open Mon - Thurs 8 - 5pm.


    Here is a small chance for Architects to lead by example and help those less fortunate.

    『Rebirth of a new Chinatown』

    On May 14th, 2009 we Tweeted:

    @wallpapermag great Chinatown map. But, Salinas Chinatown still exists; + referenced by Steinbeck in East of Eden!

    Now we are currently helping to change the fate of Salinas Chinatown.  We’ll be posting more articles and thoughts throughout the project.  Check out the great interactive Chinatown map by wallpapermag.

    One of our projects just was awarded the 2009 Metlife Innovative Space Awards with a $50,000 grand prize for an exceptional art space!!! 

    The International Sonoran Desert Alliance (ISDA) in Ajo, Ariz, received $50,000 in recognition of its development of the Curley School, an exceptional, community-engaged artist space.  The awards recognize outstanding efforts in the design and development of affordable space for artists, which is an integral part of Leveraging Investments in Creativity (LINC)’s Space for Change: Building Communities Through Innovative Art Spaces program. These spaces provide a stable foundation from which artists may pursue their works and shape the neighborhoods they inhabit. The winners were selected from more than 90 organizations in 29 states.
